Getting
ready to fiberglass! Have to make sure the hull is all nice and smoothed
out. A bit of sanding. |

Fiberglass
cloth laid out, and the bow piece is slit to overlap so there are
no wrinkles. |

A
foam roller is recommended in the manual. It works great, just make
sure you get the kind from home depot, pictured here. We had great
success with it. Others fall apart. |

Me,
trying out the roller before we get into the epoxy. Note: I put an
apron on right after this shot was taken. You cant wear good clothes
for this job, lots of epoxy! |

My
grandfather, getting ready to start rolling epoxy. |

All
wet with epoxy and smoothed out even. No bubbles, no wrinkles, perfect
job! |

Another
shot of the finished glass job. |

A
razor blade or utility knife works well to trim off the excess fiberglass. |

Hint:
I waited until the epoxy on the hull was almost hard, only the slightest
bit tacky, then I cut the excess off. It is still soft, but stuck
enough on the hull so that you won't pull your nice glass job. |
